I was referred to Michael Bloom for help with my very shy dog; I
will be eternally grateful for that referral. In my opinion,
Michael is a true "dog whisperer." (Michael is not to
be confused with others who advertise themselves as such in the
Modi'in area.) He intuitively and intellectually understands
dogs. He treats them respectfully, and they immediately trust
him and respond to him. Remarkably, Michael is as kind to humans
as he is to dogs. In his ever-patient manner, Michael helped me
to understand why my dog is shy and he showed me how to help her
cope. He also has a keen sense of humor and I found his dog
training classes to be entertaining and fun, and surprisingly,
so did my shy dog!

A few years ago, when my dog was only 6 months old, I saw a
group of people and dogs running around a basketball court.
Then, someone called out something and within a few seconds all
the dogs were sitting quietly in front of their owners.
This, as I found out later, was the advanced group training
class, instructed by Michael Bloom.
I didn't experience too many problems with my puppy back then
but I thought teaching her some basic commands would be nice. I
had no idea that those training classes with Michael will
improve the relationship between my dog and I to that extend…
You don't need to wait for behavioral problems! One reason for
doing obedience training is to establish a foundation from which
you and your dog can learn to effectively relate to one another.
The first thing obedience training does is to create a common
language for you and your dog. This, in turn, lets your dog know
the proper response (behavior) that you expect.
The obedience trained dog can respond properly to your commands,
instead of neurotically trying to please and becoming ever more
anxious with your displeasure. The dog will acknowledge the
people in the family as the leaders and becomes more secure and
calm in this bond of love and authority.
Obedience training can be used to help fulfill some of your
dog's basic needs, such as exercise, the security of knowing
what's expected, a feeling of accomplishment, and constructive
social interaction.
It is also important that the instructor will use gentle methods
and have a positive approach, someone that understands dogs- I
recommend Michael Bloom. He is very experienced and always comes
up with the right solution. He makes us all smile and wag!

I've been growing & training dogs for the past
15 years and thought I know all about training & dog behavior. I was so wrong !
Since I got a
mixed Lab+Boxer he gave me nothing but trouble including biting
the neighbor ! The dog grew up to 45 Kg weight and very hard to
control. Mike was able to teach me and the Dog how to work
together and all that with patience and calm manner that other
trainers seem to forget. I recommend all dog owners to do what I
did and joined mike's way of dog training & education.
